مڈل لیول پر شاعری کرنا کا شوق چڑھا مگر وزن کا علم ہی نہیں تھا اس لیے خود ہی گنگنا اور اس کے مطابق الفاظ جوڑ دینے ایف۔ ایس۔سی تک یہی سلسلہ رہا اور جب بی ایس میں آیا تو پتا چلا کہ کوئی وزن ہوتا ہے جیسے 1,2 یا 3,2 وغیرہ کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے شاعری میں۔ اور اس کے کچھ عرصہ بعد ہی کرمِ ربِ کریم ہوا کہ فیس بک کے ایک گروپ سے شاعری کی ایک کتاب ( شاعری کے بیس اسباق) کا لنک ملا پھر اس پر دیا گیا سبق باقاعدگی سے کیا جانے لگا۔ جب فاعلن اور فعولن کا علم ہوا تو پتا چلا کہ 2,1 کا کیا چکر ہے جب یہ یاد ہوا تو مجھے الفاظ کے جوڑوں میں دقت پیش آئی جو کہ رفتہ رفتہ دور ہوتی جارہی ہے اور آج ہر بحر پر بافضل رب نعت کہہ لیتاہوں<br />

پہلا نعتیہ شعر جو کہ وزن میں نہیں تھا وہ کچھ یوں ہے<br />
مدینہ ، مدینہ، مدینہ،مدینہ <br />
نبی کا شہر مدینہ نبی کا گھر مدینہ<br />
یہ تقریباً چھٹی یا ساتویں جماعت میں کہا تھا<br />
اور جو وزن میں کہا گیا ہے<br />
حاضری کا شرف نصب اس بار<br />
ہو کرم مجھ پہ ہر بار سرکار<br />
یہ شعر بی۔ایس تیسرے سال کے آغاز میں کہا گیا<br />
پہلا نعتیہ مشاعرہ انجمن فقیرانہ مصطفیٰ کے زیر اہتمام ماہانہ طرحی نعتیہ مشاعرہ تہبتہ پڑھا<br />
جس میں تھوڑی جھجھک اور خوف تھا<br />
استاد محترم: پروفیسر ریاض احمد قادری صاحب (گورنمنٹ پوسٹ گریجویٹ کالج سمن آباد فیصل آباد) ان سے ہی اصلاح کا سلسلہ جاری ہے<br />
